My number 2 guitarist is Jimmy Page from Led Zepplin. Jimmy page is a very awesome guitatist and has been for many years. I think thaet he deserves so much respect for his guitar playing because of all of his complecated riffs and hard to play solo’s.
Jimmy page was born in West London suburb of Heston. Jimmy page says that the Elvis Preasly song ”Baby Let’s Play House.” His first guitar was a second hand 1959 Futurama Grazioso. This guitar was later replaced by a Fender Telecaster. Now he mostly uses a Gibson Les Paul.
He was first with the Yardbirds then Led Zepplin. After the Yardbirds he formed Led Zepplin in 1968. He recruited Robert Plant to sing, John Bonham the drummer, and he also was contacted by John Paul Jones who asked to join the group.

by Jake on Dec.08, 2009, under Top ten guitarists
Hi!! Sorry I have had a long summer between gymnastics and parties with my friends and family. So back to business my number five guitarist in my count down is Eddie Van Halen from Van Halen. Van Halen, originally called Genesis, was formed in 1972. In the late 1990′s he was treated for tongue and mouth cancer twice.
Eddie built his first guitar by hand using an imperfect body and a neck bought from Wayne Charvel’s guitar shop. Eddie has said that he had learned almost all of Eric Clapton’s solos by the age of 14. For some of Van Halen’s earlier albums he used an Ibanez Destroyer. Most often Eddie use his very famous Frankenstrat. The Frankenstrat alone can sell for about $25,000 each. He has made a deal with Fender that know makes this type of guitar.

Les Paul
by Jake on Aug.28, 2009, under Guitar Blogs
Les Paul is a Guitar Legend. Not only is he a great guitarist but he has also created the Famous Solid Body Electric Guitar known as the Les Paul. The frist thing created with his name on it was in the early 1950′s Gibson made a guitar with Les Paul’s suggestions. Then When Gibson changed the guitar without his knowledge he told them to take his name of the design completly, Then renaming the guitar The Gibson SG. He also invented a devices that made it possible to to play more than one track at the recording studio. So instead of having the entire band play at once and having to start over if somebody messed up, you can have the guitar record then the drums ajnd so on. Then you can combine them all and make on song. He also had a tv show that him and his wife Mary Ford ran and hosted in 1950. After all he has acomplished he tragically died at 94 on August 13, 2009.
